About

I build personal infrastructure the way some people restore cars or tend gardens — because the process itself is the point. This site is the workshop door left open.

ataraxis.dev documents the systems, decisions, and lessons from running a personal AI infrastructure stack. Docker on a Pi 5, PostgreSQL for everything, n8n for automation, MCP for AI orchestration, and a growing voice pipeline.

The name comes from the Greek ataraxia — a state of serene calmness. The goal of all this infrastructure is, ironically, less friction. Systems that handle the noise so you can focus on what matters.

The Stack

  • Raspberry Pi 5 — production host
  • AMD 7900 XTX — local inference
  • PostgreSQL — single source of truth
  • n8n — workflow automation
  • Home Assistant — home control
  • Caddy + Authelia — reverse proxy + SSO
  • Cloudflare — DNS, R2 backups, Workers
  • This site — Astro, Tailwind CSS, static
